This movie reminded us that Andrew and all his witty spider-like banter, is a great Spider-Man. He smiled because he had saved her life but he cried because he couldn’t save Gwen’s.
I mean come on, it wasn’t a dry eye in the audience when he saved MJ from falling to her death. Whether it was the pain of remembering Gwen, or the joy of him finally having “brothers”, we were right there him.
The Peter Parker/Spider-Man from the “Amazing Spider-Man” franchise stole the show as soon as he stepped out of that sparkly ring and into Ned’s very tidy kitchen. A big part of that magic (no pun intended) was Andrew Garfield. At times It was funny, emotional, and just really fun to watch. Spider-Man No Way Home is arguably the best Spider-Man movie to date and it will go down as one of the best, most ambitious, well paced movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
